Chapter Eleven

Wale

We weren’t dating. I didn’t take Suzanne to dinner or for rides on the back of my bike. She never visited my house or slept in my bed. Instead, we fucked. Often.

She was adventurous and generous. At times, demanding and then able to turn around and follow my orders to the letter. I was enjoying myself and her luscious body. Who knew that a human could be so gratifying?

We were in her bed. We met at her place, exclusively. I’d stop by after work, or sometimes before, depending on my schedule. She wisely didn’t put constraints on our time. For now, she seemed satisfied with how things were going.

My only issue was that I wasn’t tired of her. In fact, I looked forward to our time together. I found myself counting down the hours to our next time.

“I’m hungry.” She reached out her arms, stretched, and then sat up.

I stared at her tits. They were big and natural. Her nipples were always hard. “I could eat.”

“What do you want? You know every place that delivers.” She climbed out of bed and walked to her closet.

“Chinese.” I pulled on my jeans.

She grabbed her robe. “Regular order, or do you want to change it up?”

“Regular is fine.”

We finished eating sitting at her table. I’d learned that, although Suz could be easy-going, she was strict about eating meals at the table. “Anything exciting today?”

When we were together, we did talk, but we kept the topics light as if we both agreed not to get too deep about anything personal.

She shook her head. “Not with me. But…I think you should be careful about buying that new car.”

“What do you mean?” I sat taller in my chair. I had not mentioned my private business to her or in front of her.

“There’s a problem with it. That’s why it’s for sale.” She began to chew on her lip.

“How do you know this?”

“Hello. Me…psychic.” She tapped the side of her forehead. “I saw it. Actually, I heard it also.” She frowned. “That’s kinda odd. I rarely get sounds.”

“What else did you see?” I still wasn’t sure that I believed in her gift.

“It’s a fancy sports car. Dark blue. Very sleek and fast.” Her eyes narrowed. “Some kind of system. That’s the problem.”

I crossed my arms over my chest. “Hmph.” I used the time to try to figure out how she could have known about the Lambo. My phone was dual-protected, and I ran my communications through a newly set up e-mail. “I’ll keep your concerns in mind.”

For a second, hurt registered in her gaze, but she didn’t say anything.

When I got home, I sent my mechanic a text stating that he needed to pay special attention to “the systems.” One couldn’t be too careful.
